This programme is for anyone who eats for reasons other than hunger - stress, boredom, loneliness, or habit. Emotional eating is not a character flaw or lack of willpower; it is a learned response. Together we map the specific triggers driving your eating - situations, emotions, thought patterns - and build evidence-based mindful eating and coping techniques that address the root cause, not just the symptoms. No food rules, no calorie counting, no guilt. Common questions

Is this therapy?

No. I'm a registered dietitian, not a therapist. This program addresses the nutritional and behavioural side of emotional eating. If we identify something better suited to a therapist, I'll say so and can suggest referrals.

Will I have to count calories or follow rules?

No. The whole point is to move away from rigid rules. We focus on understanding triggers, building mindful eating skills, and rebuilding trust with your body.

How is this different from a weight-loss program?

Weight is not the goal here - your relationship with food is. Many people do see body composition change as a side effect, but the program is built around freedom around eating, not a number on a scale.

How long until I see changes?

Most clients notice shifts in awareness within 2–3 weeks. Deeper behavioural change typically takes the full 10 weeks; the goal is that the change lasts after we stop working together.
