Terms of sale

What you are buying, how it reaches you, and what happens if something needs to change.

Last updated 22 October 2026

Draft. The highlighted parts still need filling in, and this should be read by someone with legal training before it is relied on.

Who you are buying from

These terms cover everything sold on jessicadietitian.com. The seller is Jessica, a registered dietitian, trading as [ legal entity name ], [ address ]. Reach me at hello@jessicadietitian.com.

What is for sale

Four things, each priced on its own page:

  • 1 Session - one 45-minute video consultation, with written recommendations afterwards.
  • 3 Sessions - one 45-minute session and two 30-minute follow-ups, booked one at a time at your own pace.
  • 3 Month Weight Loss Programme - a 45-minute intro call, a personalised plan, weekly check-ins, monthly calls and a closing call with a maintenance plan.
  • Nutrition Guide - a written guide prepared for you from a form you fill in and photos of how you eat. No sessions.
  • Handbooks - PDFs you download and keep.

Paying

Payment is taken through Stripe before anything is booked or delivered. Prices are in US dollars and include nothing else - your bank may add a currency conversion fee, which is between you and them.

Your card details go straight to Stripe. They never reach me.

How you get what you bought

  • Handbook - the download appears straight after payment, and the PDF also arrives by email so you keep it if you close the page.
  • Nutrition Guide - you fill in a form and send photos of how you eat. I write your guide from those and email it within [ 7 ] working days.
  • Sessions and programmes - you pick a time right after paying, and receive a form to complete before we meet.

Changing or cancelling a session

Life happens. You can move a booked session up to [ 24 ] hours beforehand, through the link in your confirmation email, at no cost.

Later than that, or not turning up, means the session counts as used. If something serious comes up, write to me - I would rather sort it out than apply a rule.

If I have to move a session, you get the choice between a new time and a refund of that session.

Your right to change your mind

If you are buying as a consumer in the EU or the UK you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason.

Digital products are the exception. A handbook is delivered the moment you pay, and by starting the download you ask for delivery to begin immediately and accept that the withdrawal right ends once it has. The same applies to the Nutrition Guide once I have started writing it for you.

A session you have not yet had is different: until the first session takes place, you can withdraw and get your money back.

What this is, and what it is not

I am a registered dietitian, and everything I give you is based on current clinical guidelines and on what you have told me about yourself. It is personalised nutrition guidance.

It is not medical treatment, and it does not replace your doctor. Nothing I write should be used to start, stop or change a medication. If you have a diagnosed condition, are pregnant, or take medication, check significant dietary changes with the doctor who knows your case.

In an emergency, contact your local emergency service, not me.

What I cannot promise

I will give you my best professional judgement and the time you paid for. What I cannot promise is a result - weight loss, a symptom resolving, a number on a blood test. Too much of that depends on your body and on what happens in your life over the following months.

Anyone telling you otherwise about nutrition is selling something.

The handbooks and guides are yours to use, not to pass on

Buy one and it is yours to read, print and keep for as long as you like. What you cannot do is share, resell or republish it. One purchase, one person.

Your data

How I handle what you tell me is set out in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of [ jurisdiction ]. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protections you have under the law of the country you live in.
